Winemaker's Tasting Notes: Crisp, refreshing and aromatic, with a bouquet of citrus fruits, passion fruit, lychee and white flowers. Lively acidity, a hint of creaminess and a long, mineral finish add depth and balance to the palate. Aged for 3 months in stainless steel tanks of the lees to add structure. Pair with smoked meats, medium cheeses, fish, crab, sushi.
"Such a floral nose with refreshing but subtle white fruit. Peaches, jasmine and lychee with a hint of lime and chalk. A scented but gastronomic torrontes with impressive purity and bright acidity. A blend from Valle de Uco and Cafayate. Drink now. Screw cap."- James Suckling.
"The varietal 2022 Crios Torrontés was produced with a 50/50 blend of juice from Cafayate in Salta and Paraje Altamira in Valle de Uco, fermented in their respective regions and then assembled in her winery in Mendoza. It has typicity, notes of orange blossom and other white flowers, but also a citrus side; it's crisp and aromatic with 13% alcohol and very good freshness and acidity that makes it easy to drink and refreshing, with a mellow mouthfeel."- Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
"Subtle and delicate aromas of perfumed flowers, pristine pear and pineapple notes and hints of apricots. Lovely dry finish."- Decanter.
"The 2022 Torrontes Crios is half from Caayate, Salta and half from Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley. Steely in hue. The fragrant nose of lychee, lemon, herbs and a hint of basil is followed by a taut, malic, nimble palate. This is a young, bold, summery wine."- Vinous.
