Critical Acclaim: 95 pts James Suckling; 94 pts Vinous.
About the Wine: In commemoration of 10 years of Baron Eric de Rothschild (Lafite) acquiring the Chilean vineyard in Los Vascos, the first grande cuvee Le Dix (meaning 10 in French) was created. Le Dix de Los Vascos originates from 70-year-old vines located in the terroir known as "El Fraile."
Tasting Notes: "Cedary wood with cigars, sandalwood, cassis, blackberries, chili chocolate and a fine twist of balsamic note. Medium to full body with a smooth but tight frame, imbedded with creamy, melted tannins. Flavorful, polished and long. Drinkable now, but better after 2024."- James Suckling.
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
