About the Wine: Amarone Classico made from grapes selected by hand from the Rizzardi family’s estate in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico zone. After the grape drying period the wine undergoes a long fermentation followed by three years matured in oak and is normally released in the 4th year following harvest. Among the accolades for 3CRU have been: Best Amarone at the Decanter World Wine Awards (2012 vintage), Gold Medal at The International Wine Challenge (2015 vintage) and Gold Medal at Merano (2018 vintage) as well as multiple 90+ point ratings worldwide.
