Winemaker Tasting Notes: The Cave Blend is always one of our most approachable and attractive wines. The nose is very fruit forward with blackberry, and ripe plum. There is a sweet kiss of oak, vanilla bean and nutmeg spice. The mouthfeel is very broad and attractive, floating across the palate with pure silkiness. The Cave blend is very dynamic as it gains a lot of attributes from different varietals. This is a wine you can enjoy every day with everything from pasta and red sauce to barbequed brisket.
