Critical Acclaim: 92 pts Decanter.
About the Winery: The estate, located in the heart of Chablis, was born 4 generations ago. As a result, they have vines ranging in age from 2 to 65 years, planted only with the Chardonnay grape variety on clay-limestone soils, with the presence of Kimmeridgian. These two elements, combined with optimum sunshine, give Chardonnay all its special aromas.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes: A dry and fragrant wine with intense aromas and an aging potential 4 to 8 years.
"This is a very approachable Montmains, with an appealing combination of ripe fruit and bright acidity. Clean, fresh and drinking well already. On their 18ha estate, Denis, Laurence and daughters Claire and Marine manage vines that are up to 90 years old."- Decanter.
Serving Suggestions: Fish in sauce and white meats.
Varietal: Chardonnay.
