Critical Acclaim: 91 pts James Suckling; 91 pts Decanter; 90 pts Wine Spectator.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes: This Albariño is of a pale yellow colour with greenish reflections and fruity aromas reminding of peach; balanced with citric notes. It is fresh and mineral with a marked acidity and a long and rounded aftertaste in mouth. Its ripening time takes place between 3 to 6 months on fine lees in stainless-steel tanks.
"Pure stone fruit with green apples, nectarines and chalk on the nose, following through to a dry and crisp palate. A little light but quite drinkable with a saline undertone in the finish. Screw cap."- James Suckling.
"Overt, youthful with intense notes of peach, grapefruit, wild flowers. Sweet apple on the mid-palate that’s balanced by pungent citrus acids."- Decanter.
"Aromas of gooseberry, finger lime and ginger lead off in this refined but refreshing white, with saline-laced grapefruit and Meyer lemon at the core, followed by a clean finish."- Wine Spectator.
"Aromas of lemon and honeydew shape the nose and repeat on the palate. This wine is light-bodied and has a refreshing acidity. The lemony finish is medium in length."- Wine Enthusiast.
