Critical Acclaim: 90 pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
Tasting Notes: "The Andrea Oberto 2017 Barolo del Comune di La Morra is subdued on first nose, with a classic approach of dark fruit, dried currant, cherry confit, spice and tar. Compared to many of the wines from this challenging vintage, this expression from the Oberto family is more graceful and polished overall, although that extra power and the alcohol content (meausring 15%) do not go unnoticed. As such, you'll want a nice cut of beef and a heaping side of roasted potatoes with this."- Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
Serving Suggestion: Excellent with roasts and wild game, dishes with truffle and aged cheeses.
Varietal: Nebbiolo.
