Chateau Puech-Haut Prestige Rouge 2021

Critical Acclaim: 91 pts James Suckling.

About the Winery: Château Puech-Haut is a prestigious estate in the eastern Languedoc producing top quality wines for very reasonable prices. The wines from Puech-Haut are rich and lush but also show the earthy and mineral character of the rocky clay-limestone soils of the region. They benefit from both its proximity to the Mediterranean and the rugged, mountainous interior.

Winemaker Tasting Notes: Deep garnet color, nose with notes of raspberry, black pepper and undergrowth. The palate is full, complex with aromas of garrigues. Slight woody touch in the final.

"A fruity, juicy, velvety and charming red with notes of cherries, raspberries, cassis and olives. Medium body, fine tannins and a straightforward development on the palate. Fruity and agreeable. Drink now."- James Suckling.

Varietal: 60% Grenach and 40% Syrah.
