Winemaker's Tasting Notes: "A beautiful Cabernet Franc with plums, dark fruits, violet and rose petal character. Full body, dense and chewy with dusty texture from the ripe tannins. This has an energy and focus that keeps your attention. Seamless and impressively balanced."

"Fragrant nose of violets, dried flowers, plums, morello cherries, milk chocolate and toffee. It’s supple and juicy, with a medium body and creamy tannins. Lovely, plush plum fruit and a caressing, lengthy finish. Very structured at the end. Needs a couple of years at least. This is in form like a top long distance runner. From organically/biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink after 2025." -James Suckling

"The Duemani 2019 Cabernet Franc Duemani ferments in oak and ages in barrique. This renders a very creamy and richly textured wine with substantial fruit weight, sweet spice and tobacco. There is a toasted note of espresso bean and scorched earth, but the wine is consistent with the variety and the rich nature of this vintage. It also shows elegant restraint despite its natural power. This is a full-bodied red (both organic and biodynamic) with very broad shoulders. It needs more bottle aging and eventually a double decanting before being poured." - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

About the Winery: The name DueMani represents two hands from two people, Elena Celli and Luca D’Attoma. Luca was born in Borgo San Lorenzo, outside of Florence. A famous winemaker, he founded a winemaking and viticultural consulting company in 1991 called Wine Evolution Consulting (W.E.C.) through which he collaborates with wineries from various regions of Italy as well as Spain and Switzerland for the production of high quality wines. Luca’s most known credit is probably consulting for the Super Tuscan powerhouse Le Macchiole for over 25 years. During his time at Le Macchiole he created two of Italy’s most famous wines the Messorio Merlot and Paleo Syrah. He also was responsible for Tua Rita’s Redigaffi.
