Critical Acclaim: 95 pts James Suckling.
Winemaker's Tasting Notes: The Barbaresco Starderi shows ripe red and black berries with juniper aromas, some tobacco, pepper and tar. Ripe and juicy fruit with fresh herbs and slightly bitter chocolate aromas, lively acidity and grip of fine tannins. Lots of power and good persistence, with nice spice and hints of smoky herbs in the background. A beautiful wine with great balance. 100% Nebbiolo.
"Rich and dense in a good way, this powerful and well-saturated wine makes a big impression. A firm, tannic texture wraps up beefy, earthy, raspberry and red cherry flavors that will develop complexity with more time in the bottle. Best from 2027."- James Suckling.
Varietal: Nebbiolo.
